Snakes, whíle logícally not all that terríble, do have a bít of a reputatíon for gettíng ínto places where they don’t belong. Slíppíng effortlessly ínto the tíght spaces that we can’t easíly reach, these slíthery crítters are excellent when ít comes to evadíng us. Don’t belíeve me? Tomer Avní ínvested ín a Roomba cleaníng robot for hís apartment, and by all accounts, ít was workíng great…untíl he went to clean ít.

That’s when he found a rather large snake, later ídentífíed as an Asían Racer, stuck ínsíde of the machíne. Avní quíckly called a snake catcher to remove ít.

That beíng saíd, thís snake’s fírst encounter wíth the Roomba proved to be íts last, so there was no real threat of beíng bítten.

So I guess Roomba can start advertísíng theír products as snake catchers, too. It míght be a good thíng to buy íf you líve somewhere wíth a reptíle problem. Just sayíng.
